What natural insecticide does Auto Mist Systems Automist Insect Control System use?
Permethrin is the primary component in our liquid solutions. Permethrin is a broad spectrum synthetic pyrethroid insecticide. It has been around since the 1970’s and is widely used today in public health, home pest control, forestry, and agriculture control. While manmade, it resembles naturally-occuring chemicals with insecticide properties, call pyrethroids. Pyrethroids are found especially in chrysanthemums. Our system also come with PBO. PBO (Piperonyl Butioxide) is an emulsifiable synergist for use in combination with insecticides, especially synthetic pyrethroids, as a tank mix to overcome resistance that pests develop with constant use of insecticides. We have found that 90% of our clients in horse facilities and livestock application find this combination very effective.
