What nations or factions are there to choose from?
Since Pirates of the Burning Sea is tied into historical accuracy, don’t expect to play as dwarves or elves. Instead, you’ll pick from four different groups, three of which are nations and one of which is a faction. On the nation side of things you can choose to fight for the British, Spanish, or the French. The final group you can choose from are the Pirates (or Brethren of the Coast as they are referred to). Depending on which group you pick, you’ll have different starting locations as well as resources at your command.
