What nations model the US Constitution?

I think he’s asking which nations the US constitution is modeled after, not the other way around.

Really…..none. The TRUE separation of power and the division of power (they are two different things) have been given lip service in other constitutions, but never really modeled. And the U. S. Constitutional provision that military control be in civilian hands has yet to be copied either. Also lacking in other U.S. “models” is a guarantee of freedom of the press, assembly, speech, gun ownership, religion, etc. They also lack restrictions on the power of the government such as no trial without public jury, no holding citizens without evidence, no invasion of a persons liberty without just cause, etc…. The US Constitution is a document in which the PEOPLE told the government they created what it could do. To my knowedge no other national constitution on earth shares this premise.
