The DK v.8.x uses GEOTRANS names, as are listed below. Note that the DK 9.0, IS 9.0, and Editor 2.0 versions introduce redesigned and more advanced support for coordinate systems which uses WKT/OpenGIS naming (and reflects EPSG codes ). This upgraded support includes approximately 120 projections, 350 datums, and 3,000 pre-defined coordinate systems. GEOTRANS Projection acronyms (used in the DK 8.x and IS 8.x versions): GED – Geodetic (unprojected) GEC – Geocentic (unprojected) ALB – Albers Equal Area Conic MER – Mercator ROB – Robinson BON – Bonne CAS – Cassini CEA – Cylindrical Equal Area TCE – Transverse Cylindrical Equal Area EQC – Equidistant Cylindrical MIL – Miller Cylindrical MOL – Mollweide Pseudocylindrical EC4 – Eckert IV EC6 – Eckert VI WA4 – Wagner IV WA7 – Wagner VII GRI – Van der Grinten LAM – Lambert Conformal Conic ORT – Orthographic POL – Polar Stereographic PLC – Polyconic SIN – Sinusoid TMR – Transverse Mercator UTM – Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) HOT – Hotine
