The Vision Science Research Group within the University of Ulster is involved in several studies investigating the epidemiology (i.e. distribution) of myopia in Northern Ireland, and the way myopic eyes look on the inside and how well they work at processing usual information. These studies are funded by the Research and Development Office Northern Ireland and The College of Optometrists.
