The Employer Agent must direct the employer in providing the worker with SSA (Social Security Administration) and/or DHS, contact information and allow that worker eight government business days to correct any discrepancies. If a worker cannot prove within the eight government business days that he/she is authorized to work, then the Employer Agent must make a final E-Verify resubmission. If the DHS makes a final Non-Confirmation, then the employer may fire the worker.
