What must japan do with its decreasing birth rate and will the population of it ever grow again?
If you think about it, Birth rate is a good thing. Japan has a lower population than the US but one of the many steps they are taking is to build a super city ( A city over a large lake), this is one step there looking into. To help to increasing the population, they are also looking into doing what Russia is for there problem for decreasing birth rates. That’s paying the public a certain amount for having a kid. There are many more Steps being taken by japan to resolve this issue, but those are some I know about.
By the law of nature, any population which sustains a negative rate of growth will halve, or any population which sustains a positive rate of growth will double. Japan in order to be ecologically sustanable without going to war for resources, must reduce her population by half. In a research on ecology and agriculture at Cornell University and US National Research Institute on Food and Nutrition study titled ‘land, food and population growth’ indicated that the world will have to reduce her population by two-third, the maximum sustainable ecology in the US is 200 million. With the size of the US, only 200 million possible, Japan must try harder to reduce her population.
