Ans: To import small mammals, you need to apply for an import permit from: Animal, Meat and Seafood Regulatory Branch (AMSRB) 5 Maxwell Road MND Tower Block #02-03 Singapore 069110 Tel: 62270670 Fax: 62276305 You can also request for the application form to be sent to you either by fax, e-mail or mail. Application forms are also available from AVAs website. (Click here to download forms) The cost of the permit is: iii. $50 per permit for personal pets iv. $87 per consignment for commercial imports. A surcharge would be imposed (in addition to the permit fee) if a permit is required to be processed within a period shorter than the service standard of 2 working days. The surcharge will be an amount equivalent to the permit fee.
