What must competitors do to get an FEI Registration number?
The FEI Registration applications are available on the USEF web site here. For those without internet access, USEF can fax or mail the form upon request. Please note all horses MUST have an active Horse Recording before an FEI Registration number can be issued. New horse recordings take approximately 30 days, so they must be done well in advance of the competition. Horse ID numbers are not sufficient when applying for FEI Registrations. The owner of the horse must be an active USEF member and a US Citizen. The rider must also have a current USEF membership in order to get an FEI number.
