What must Charities and Public Fundraising Organisations do to participate in the self-regulation of fundraising scheme?
Fundraising organisations that sign up to self-regulation will be required to: • Ensure fundraisers have access to, understand and use the Codes of Fundraising Practice. • Adopt a suitable complaints handling procedure and evaluation procedure. • Secure the understanding, buy-in and support of Trustees at the point of signing up to self-regulation. • Publicise participation in the scheme to donors by use of the scheme’s logo and reference to The Fundraising Promise on all fundraising materials.
