What must be included in the summary of an arbitration award?
There is a form for filing an arbitration award summary. The summary must include the following: • Names of parties; • Names of parties’ attorneys (if any); • Arbitrator’s name; • Arbitration service company’s name (if any); • Fee charged to conduct arbitration; • General discussion of each disputed issue; • Arbitrator’s determination (party that prevailed on each disputed issue and amount of any award); and • Date of the award.
