What must be done when NIH requests a revised budget?

Prepare the revised budget following NIH’s instructions, but also incorporate any updates to UCSD salaries, F&A rates, and to NIH salary caps. Starting with a xerox of the original RES form for that UCSD number, make the following changes/additions in red: • Add “R” to the UCSD number. • Check the box for “Revision” under “Type of Proposal”. • Change the dollars to match the new budget. • Change the dates of the project, if applicable. • Have all the original signers re-sign their names in red on top of their old signatures. • Send these to OCGA/SIO, along with copies of any letters or e-mails from NIH requesting the budget revision.
