What must accompany the CII to qualify it for PCII protection?
Two items must be included with the information submitted for PCII protection: • An Express Statement, requesting the protections offered by the CII Act; and • A Certification Statement, that includes contact information from both the private sector company and the individual authorized to voluntarily submit the CII and a declaration that the information is not customarily in the public domain.
