The tenant must give the owner and the Housing Authority proper notice that the tenant wishes to move. After the initial term of the lease (i.e., month to month, year to year) the tenant may terminate the lease at any time provided that the tenant give the landlord written notice of his/her intention to move in accordance with the lease.
