What movies use shakespeare quotes in their scripts?
One of the Star Trek movies (VI, I think) has a Shakespeare-quoting Klingon commander. Shakespeare in Love is an obvious one. The new movie “She’s the Man” is based on his Twelfth Night. There’s a Star Trek: The Next Generation in which they act out bits of Henry V. Faulkner’s book title “The SOund and the Fury” is from a quote in Macbeth. The book and movie title What Dreams May Come is from Hamlet’s “to be or not to be” soliloquy. There’s a ton of this kind of stuff. Arguably, the entire movie “The Lion King” is a giant Hamlet allusion.
