What movie has a wife trying to drive the Cleveland Indians out of town?
The Movie “Major League” features an ex showgirl who inherits the Cleveland Indians when her husband dies. The woman, not thrilled of the prospect of being in Cleveland attempts to assemble the worst team she can in order to drive down attendance to the point she can execute a hidden clause in the teams contract with the city with her goal to move the team to Miami (at the time of production, the Marlins were not in existence.) Her plan however backfires, and the team makes it all the way to the World Series.
