Eye for an Eye is a film starring Sally Field, Kiefer Sutherland, Ed Harris, Beverly D’Angelo and Joe Mantegna. The film opened on January 12, 1996. After her daughter Julie was brutally raped and murdered, Karen McCann grieves as the murderer is released on a technicality, she sets out to find him and seeks vengeance for her slain daughter. As she follows him she soon discovers that he’s going to commit the crime again and sets out for justice. She puts her plan into motion when she learns that he befriended her younger daughter. She stalks him making him come for her. On a lesser note the actress playing Sally fields daughter also played Dorothy Jane Torkellson on The Torkellsons and Almost home. She took the roll in this movie to break her contract which at the time belonged to Disney as they bought the rites to the show and were planning on reviving it before the cast s contracts ran up.
