What most affects a violinists sound?

0

The skill of the violinist obviously plays a big role but quality of the violin plays the biggest part in the sound and the strings is the second biggest part of quality of sound. Get plain steel strings intead of the steel wrapped strings. Also the thickness of your hair on your bow causes your sound to be softer and not as bold but make sure you have rosin because it will not make a good pure sound it will sound kinda like a wah wah sound kinda swishy sound. There is many things that can cause your violin to sound wierd but id say the make, strings and rosin are the most important… Hope this helped!
