Australians have led the world in kerbside recycling. For example, Sydneysiders have increased the amount of material recovered from kerbside by over 250% between 1991 and 2001. CCA is committed to working with local government and industry to establish public place recycling in all key public destinations. With over 50% of our products consumed away from home, CCA is committed to recovering used packaging for recycling into new bottles.
