What moral problems does digital photography pose?
different question….. I guess you mean the ability to easily manipulate images and the like. With film, unless you were an enthusiast and had the space and time to do your own development then the pictures had to go to a lab and consequently others would see the pictures. That meant that people kept their pictures relatively “decent”. With digital this is no longer the case so a lot more can be kept “private and hidden”. This gives the more dodgy characters in society the opportunity to stay hidden. Manipulation of pictures was a lot harder with film and it was (unless very expertly done) harder to hide the fact that a photo had been altered. Now with the easily learnt programmes on the market, it is very easy to change a photograph (there have been cases of press photographers changing shots to give a totally different shot).
