As far as I know several of the slimes were never in any other Dragon Quest game: TreeSlime, Slabbit, DrakSlime, WingSlime, BoxSlime, FangSlime, RockSlime, and SlimeBorg. SlimeNite and SpotSlime were new to the US, but they were in both Dragon Quest 5 and 6.
