The GUARDIAL DTS detector is an electronic-only device without any moving mechanical parts. It based on most up-to-date sensor measuring the gravitational acceleration /being the result of forces of gravity/. The accelerometer is built with MEMS technology /check MEMS technology link/. Such sensor guarantees high sensitivity and high reliability. The detector incorporates a fast microcontroller, with a sophisticated vehicle body inclination monitoring algorithm implemented. The algorithm has been tested by extensive computer simulations and by experimental verification in various types of vehicles. That results in automatic sensitivity adjustment of sensor and lack of false alarms.
