The recommended model is Inspector 3000 w/ 6 mil wand. This is the most economical ANSI/ISO verifier in the product line and will check all thermal printer failures. The particular failure that needs the ANSI/ISO method to detect is a failed print head element that causes a white stripe inside a bar of the bar code. This results in a low Overall Symbol Grade (C or less) due to a low Defects calculation.
