What mirrors should i check at roundabouts?
Any that shows a lane, so if I am turning left at the first exit and in the left lane I’d just glance at the right mirror if there was an outside lane where some fool might be trying to cut me off. I always check behind me when slowing or pulling away, so the driver’s mirror always gets checked. If there’s another lane I’d look over my shoulder too. Better safe than sorry. Where two lanes go left I prefer not to be next to someone if traffic is moving pretty well and I can avoid it, makes less difference in heavy traffic. There’s often some idiot who didn’t notice that the second lane can turn as well. Americans have no idea how to deal with roundabouts. Even when they have them they still can’t use them properly, though they are starting to learn.
