What Mining Companies Are Available for Direct Purchase Stocks?
“Do you like to buy your stocks directly from companies? Hi this is Roger Groh at Groh Asset Management. Today we are here to talk about mining stocks that will let you buy stock directly from them. Why? Well there is some convenience and maybe it’s a little cheaper than buying it through an exchange. You’d have to really look at the numbers though to figure out which way was best for you. Anyway here are some names for you. In the mining side, Alcoan, BHP. On the services side you have Halliburton and Schlumberger and oil, Chevron, Exxon, Occidental and Sunoco. We are not making recommendations on any of those companies we are just saying that they will give you the right to buy directly from the company. Why do that? Well some say it’s easier to transfer stocks if you buy directly from a company or reinvest automatically, some people think that’s easier and last but not least in some cases it may be cheaper.
