Wilson might have told the delegation of 117 Jews to stay home instead of bringing them to France to participate in the treaty negotiations. The Jews were there to make sure that the Jewish bankers in New York got repayment for the loans that were made to France and Great Britain. Wilson might have told the British and the French to repay these loans themselves instead of forcing the Germans to pay the bill for the whole war.
