The microphones we offer for the ARES-P / PII range are 5V electret capsules. One is an omni-directional mono capsule and the other is a twin capsule stereo cardioid configuration. In the ARES-PII we introduce phantom powering to allow users to select their own microphones. All models can use standard dynamic microphones via a cable.
