What methods of payment does the British Journal office accept?
Payment in advance must be made by cheque in Pounds Sterling and drawn on a UK bank, or by MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Switch. Please include the issue number when paying by Switch. Please note we do not accept Direct Debit payments. We accept direct bank transfers only in exceptional circumstances, where currency exchange problems arise. Due to the difficulties we have with identifying these payments with our bank there may be some considerable delay in the processing of your order. The International Department of your bank will be able to assist with cheque payments.
