What method of classroom manangement is used in my childs classroom?
Each child is considered to be capable of making good choices. Positive reinforcement is used to encourage good behavior. When problems occur, we will discuss choices that your child is making and try to work out a better way to handle a situation. If discussion doesn’t work then we will redirect your child to another activity that might better for him/her. If redirection doesn’t work then we will ask the child to sit in the “quite corner” until he/she is able to return to the activity.
