What metering modes does the SP-510 UZ offer?
The SP-510 UZ supports three metering modes: Digital ESP multi-pattern metering (default), Spot, and Center-weighted Averaging. • DIGITAL ESP: The camera meters the brightness at the center of the frame and that of the surrounding area separately to create a picture with balanced brightness. • SPOT: The camera meters a small area around the center of the LCD monitor. This is the best mode to use when the subject is backlit or positioned against a very dark or very bright background. • CENTER-WEIGHTED AVERAGING: The metering mode provides the average metering between the subject and the background lighting, placing more weight on the subject at the center of the frame.
