When a successful logon occurs, a secure mainframe screen is established in a new browser window. The following messages appear in the EDS Host Link message area: • “Verifying Logon ID & Password.” The ID and Password will be validated through a secure connection (204.26.153.140 secure port 451). • “User Authenticated” The ID/Password has been successfully validated. • “Please wait for Mainframe Connection…” An attempt is being made to connect to a different server to establish the mainframe connection (204.26.153.136 secure port 5023). • “Session Established.” A secure mainframe session was successfully established and now appears in your new browser screen.
