What Memory Stick does the PSP accept?
Memory Stick PRO DUO (with Magic Gate) is recommended. However, if you’re only going to save games then only Memory Stick DUO is needed (no magic gate protection). *What is Magic Gate?* A way to ensure copy protection. Sony will allow stuff to be bought from the Sony Connect store, and since they don’t want you to give the stuff to other people then they need some way to be sure that you can’t. Magic Gate protects against such actions. However, if you own movies yourself you can just convert them to the PSP’s movie format with Sony’s software.
