What members of society will oppose internet communication?
Ah, the parallax that is technology. Most who do not understand technology will oppose it, which will include many members of society. They are scared of what *could* happen. Ie, pornography, child predators, etc. They do not understand that with proper common sense, attitude and precautions, these threats are very unlikely to happen. It is hard to label which members of society will be opposed to it, as everyone has had different experiences and have different interests. Personally, i beleive the internet and online networking sites are a wonderful place to meet people, and I explain the benifits of them to anti-internet people. They are forums to meet new people, and to discuss ideas. If you meet somone who you percieve as threatening, you simply block them out and move on, and not do anything stupid. Parents are especially afraid of internet. Once again, with proper education, you can show them that internet communication is a good thing. They can’t wrap their kids up in cotton wool
