What mediums does Karl use for his paintings and drawings?
Karl uses cold-pressed watercolor paper for his drawings because it is sturdier and offers a wider range of values and texture than ordinary drawing paper. For his paintings, Karl used to paint in oils but for the last ten years he has worked almost exclusively in acrylic. Karl uses both primed and un-primed canvas.
