What medications do you recommend for OCD, anxiety problems, panic attacks, and depression?

The SSRI group is best for depression and anxiety. They include Celexa, Lexapro, Prozac, Luvox, Paxil, and Zoloft. Non SSRI medications that are commonly used are Wellbutrin, Cymbalta, Amitriptyline, Effexor, and Trazodone. Panic attacks are best treated with the Benzodiazepine class (although these can cause dependence). These include: Valium, Xanax, and Ativan. One study found only six drugs effective in helping OCD patients: Luvox, Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, Celexa, and Anafranil. You’re probably going to need a combination of these medications to help. Good luck.
