What medical concerns are associated with Dachshunds?
Things to consider when adding a Dachshund to your life is the various medical conditions associated with the breed. We are lucky to have only a few breed specific concerns, but unfortunately the number one issue can be a life threatening one. #1 Due to their long length and unusual short legs, they can be prone to IVDD (Intervertebral Disk Disease).
