What measures are in place to prevent someone cheating to earn playlist spots?
There are several measures in place. The first prevents automated scripts from viewing multiple videos by using a simple audio instruction which must be correctly responded to before a playlist spot can be earned. It acts to ensure users have their sound on, and avoids viewers having to read and enter one of those annoying text coded images. We also have measures in place to ensure that viewers cannot earn more than one view every 30 seconds based on our server’s clock. As a final resort our monitoring processes alert us if a viewer’s behavior falls outside normal parameters.
