AltaLink/EPCOR work with industry specialists to coordinate the protection of transmission towers and pipelines. During the construction of either a pipeline or transmission line, a study is completed and corrosion mitigation measures are developed and implemented. AltaLink/EPCOR will work to ensure that the pipelines can be shut off and the transmission line de-energized should a pipeline rupture occur.
