What may not be patented as Inventions?
The following, inter alia, shall not be recognized as inventions, within the meaning of this Law: – discoveries, scientific theories and mathematical methods; – proposals only concerning the outward appearance of manufactured articles and intended to satisfy aesthetic requirements; – rules and methods of games, intellectual or economic activity; – programs for computers; – proposals only comprising presentation of information; – In accordance with this point the above listed subject matters can not be recognized as inventions only when an application for invention patent relates to these subjects as such.
