What may heirs who have renounced a succession do if there is money left after the succession is liquidated?
They may retract their renunciation of the succession within 10 years of the date of death. They must contact a notary, who will draw up an act of revocation en minute. This is entered in the register of personal and movable real rights. They must also complete the document Declaration of Heredity and Transmission by Death (LE-81.4-V).
