What math concepts are used in architecture?
Shapes and geometry, as well as trigonometry, are important in architecture, since you need to figure out how to piece everything together, what materials or weights will withstand a certain force or weight (or, say, the force of a tornado versus a tsunami or an earthquake). Triangles for instance are very strong shapes for building towers or bridges. There’s also physics involved; much of the stuff about force, tension, etc. is used in building. Hope that helps.
