What materials does Heartland Braided Rugs use?
Each and every rug made is crafted with the finest quality American made carpet yarn. Carpet yarn has many advantages over other fibers. While it is as durable as wool, it is colorfast, low maintenance, and non-allergenic. We use a monofilament sewing thread similar to fishing line. This prevents our rugs from splitting and coming apart under heavy use. Sewing stitches are guaranteed for as long as you own your rug. Carolina Collection: On most braids the yarn is made of 100% spun Nylon. On some of the darker colors the yarn is made of Polyester. Colonial Collection: The yarn is composed of 100% spun nylon.
