What materials can be coextruded with Eastman Provista™ copolymer without a tie layer?

Rigid • Most polyesters except PCCE should stick to Eastman Provista™ copolymer. • Acrylics will stick to Eastma Provista™ copolymer but not very well. • ABS will stick to Eastman Provista™ copolymer. In fact, ABS is used as a tie layer with styrene. • PVC will bond well with Eastman Provista™ copolymer but also burns easily at the copolymer’s normal processing temperatures. • All other materials will need a tie layer. Flexible • Eastman NeoStar&trade elastomer provides a good bond. • Polyurethanes such as Bayer’s Texin® 285 and Texin® 985 provide an excellent bond.
