What materials are used in picnic tables?
Picnic tables are typically made from galvanized steel or recycled polyethylene. There are benefits to each of these materials. Galvanized steel is utilized to be long-lasting, comfortable and easy to clean. It is usually powdercoated in a wide variety of colors. Available in square 42″ tables or oblong shapes in lengths that typically vary from 72″ to 92″. Recycled polyethylene looks like wood, but is longer lasting and easier to keep clean, and the specially curved edges are easy on legs and arms. They are available in square 60″ tables or oblong 84″ tables.
