The BABYBJÖRN Spoon, and the border of the BABYBJÖRN Plate, are made of PP (Polypropylene) and TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer). The inside of the plate is made of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene). The plastic in BABYBJÖRN Plate and Spoon is recyclable and classified as food safe in accordance both with US (FDA) and European (EEC) standards. We do not use chemical additives such as bisphenol A, cadmium, lead, bromides, phylates or chlorine. We also do not use PVC.
