What materials are collected at Kemp for recycling?
(Back to top) The two primary categories of recycled materials are mixed paper and mixed containers. Mixed paper includes office paper, junk mail, magazines, newspaper, soda & beer cases, cardboard, and box board (e.g., cereal boxes). All paper should be clean. Paper towels and tissues are trash or compost. Mixed containers include aluminum cans, glass, plastics #1 – #7, and tin cans. All containers should be empty and rinsed, with labels removed.
