What materials are accepted in the FoodPlus! Recycling program?
ALL FOODS/FOOD SCRAPS including: • Fruit and vegetable scraps and trimmings • Table scraps • Spoiled/outdated foods • All meat, fish and shellfish scraps (including bones and shells) • Eggshells • Dairy scraps (such as yogurt, cheese, sour cream, ice cream, milk) • Paper coffee filters and groundsALL COMPOSTABLE/BIODEGRADABLE/FOOD-SOILED PRODUCTS, including: • Pizza boxes • Paper milk/juice/ice cream/soy cartons • Frozen food cartons • Paper deli/take-out cartons • Napkins • Paper towels • Paper plates, bowls and cups • Biodegradable /Eco Dishware (like corn, potato-based and bamboo items) including plates, bowls, cups, lids, utensils, straws and to-go containers.
