What material is the WineWeaver made from?
Because the WineWeaver is designed to sit on top of your glass or decanter, it had to be designed from a material that wouldn’t damage the glassware. Therefore, after years of engineering and research, an incredibly lightweight polycarbon was used in the design process. It is approved for use with alcohol by the U.S. FDA and EEC. In addition, the use of this material allows for a wonderful mix of color to be added, but the WineWeaver also appears almost crystal like and very elegant.
