A – TrueWomb is made of a stretch cotton (cotton / spandex blend). We use what is called a “long staple” cotton which is basically the same structure as Pima cotton. It makes for a wonderfully soft, yet durable, fabric that will hold up much better to multiple washings than the many products made of lighter, less expensive cotton fabric. But we don’t use this high quality fabric just for the heck of it… our research has determined it’s important for the specific performance characteristics necessary for the product to work its magic. We do recommend that you have at least two TrueWomb swaddles in your baby’s size so that you always have one available for sleeptime!
