What material can be used to replace the existing window channels?
The factory installed glass is 10mm thick and no off-the-shelf channels have been found. Elnora’s solution gets around the 10mm glass problem by replacing it with 1/4″ glass. There is channel available 1/4″ glass. Another solution, is to buy 3/8″ channel and modify it to fit the 10mm glass. Here’s a slideshow of how to do it.
